World Wrestling Entertainment kicked off Money in the Bank season on the most recent Raw with three qualifying matches.
Braun Strowman and Kevin Owens followed up an opening promo about deserving a spot with the first qualifier. The two put on an entertaining match ending with a Strowman victory.
Ember Moon defeated Ruby Riott and Sasha Banks in a triple threat match. The Riott Squad leader and the Boss couldn’t stop Moon’s incredible, out-of-nowhere Eclipse on both women for the win.
Finn Balor took out Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn to qualify for the MITB matchup. Jinder Mahal tripped up a near victorious Reigns, laying the foundation for a coming feud.
Raw Ratings hit 2018 Low
According to PWInsider.com, WWE Monday Night Raw ratings were the lowest of 2018 on Monday Night. For the first time since January, ratings didn’t exceed 3 million.
Backlash’s negative fallout probably didn’t do much to help fans get excited for the Raw follow-up show.
