— FWE has released the following preview for their Queens, New York show that takes place tomorrow:
FWE is back and ready to kick off a HUGE 2015. We make our debut this Saturday at the World Resort Casino in Queens, NY. The show will be available LIVE on iPPV! For complete details on the iPPV broadcast, visit FWEWrestling.com!
After we ReFueled back in October, we have a huge schedule ahead of us for 2015. We kick things off this Saturday with a huge line up!
FWE Tri Borough Championship Match:
Paul London vs Matt Sydal
Paul London makes his return to FWE to defend the FWE Tri Borough Championship against the debuting Matt Sydal. London defeated Damien Darling two years ago to become the champion. Matt Sydal, after being mistreated for years has come to greener pastures to vie for one of the top championships in the industry and facing a world class competitor. Will Sydal become a champion in FWE in his debut, or will London come out on top in his first defense.
Joey Ryan Rules Match:
“The Innovator of Violence” Tommy Dreamer vs Joey Ryan
At FWE ReFueled, Tommy Dreamer teamed with Ivelisse Velez as they faced The World’s Cutest Tag Team, Joey Ryan & Candice LeRae in what became a viral hit as TMZ picked up the match on some of the antics that took place during the match. What will happen when Dreamer faces Ryan one on one? Let’s not forget, all fun aside, Tommy Dreamer is a former FWE World Heavyweight Champion and has held multiple championships in other companies. Joey Ryan, behind the blowpops, is a tremendous wrestler. The match is being held under “Joey Ryan Rules.” What that means, is anyone’s guess, but one thing is for sure, it will be entertaining.
ICW Championship Match
Drew McIntyre vs Matt Hardy
In a blockbuster announcement that just came to pass, Drew Galloway, who made his FWE debut at ReFueled with a 1-1 record (Defeating Carlito Colon but losing to Tommy Dreamer in a hard fought match) has agreed to put up his ICW Championship on the line against the returning to FWE, Matt Hardy. Galloway has something to prove to the world and defeating Matt Hardy, with his Championship on the line, will cement himself as one of the top competitors in the business. Matt Hardy hasn’t been seen in FWE since No Limits ’13. He would love another opportunity at the FWE World Heavyweight Championship, defeating Drew, for his championship, would be a huge step in that direction. With pride and gold at stake, the ante has been upped.
FWE Women’s Championship Match:
Candice LeRae vs Veda Scott
We were supposed to see these two square off in a tag team match at ReFueled, however, after Veda defeated Hania on Night one of the event, Candice & Joey came out to discuss their match and Ryan took her out of the match. It was a busy weekend for Candice, as after Ivelisse defeated Maria Kanellis to capture the FWE Women’s Championship, she came out and issued a challenge. Having pinned Ivelisse the night before, Candice felt she deserved first crack and Ivelisse being the fighter she is, gladly accepted. In what would be a mistake, Candice would defeat Ivelisse, with the help of Ryan. Now, as luck has it, Veda has the chance to get the ultimate revenge and not only defeat Candice, but take her title.
Other Matches announced:
– The Addiction (Chris Daniels & Kazarian) vs Adrenaline Express (EJ Risk & VSK)
– Bandido Jr. & Trent? vs The Juicy Product
– Katarina Leigh vs Taeler Hendrix
– Brian Meyers (fka as Curt Hawkins) vs Johnny Gargano
– Orange Cassidy vs Robbie E.
We will have a meet & greet from 5-8! Tickets are available at www.fwewrestling.com/ticketing
You can also get tickets for our huge event taking place on March 11th, in Brooklyn, NY where for the first time ever, John Morrison will be defending the FWE World Heavyweight Championship against AJ Styles, who makes his FWE debut. Not only will this be a first time match, it will be two out of three falls!
