Many times in the past WWE has tried to have unified champions in television story lines. however the task of trying to book a performer as a double champion becomes increasingly difficult as time goes on and big cards need filled out.
As it turns out, however, with Seth Rollins currently holding both the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and WWE United States Championship after defeating John Cena with help from Jon Stewart at this past Sunday night’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, WWE finds themselves back in the same position of trying to book a double champion.
The interesting thing about this current situation with Seth Rollins, however, is that WWE actually has a very specific plan on how to deal with Rollins holding two titles at the same time, as they plan to handle it very differently than they have any similar situation in the past.
